Coach Jen rowed at University of Charleston before transferring to the University of Central Florida. She coached for Jacksonville Rowing Club and then coached for Lake Brantley High School Rowing Association. At Lake Brantley she started coaching middle schoolers before moving to master's. She eventually became the varsity women's coach. She spent this summer in Alaska with the Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club. Jen has a background in both sweep and sculling. She is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and runs her own personal training business.

Coach Kelleigh has completed four years of rowing with Virginia Tech and is looking forward to transitioning to the role of VT Crew coach. Kelleigh has been in many winning boats both on the women's novice and varsity teams. This summer she coached for D.C Strokes Rowing Club. She is studying Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with the Dietetics Option. Kelleigh stays busy around campus and the Blacksburg community with activities such as working in the gym and teaching.

Mary Sage Earley is a senior in Chemical Engineering. This is her fourth year with the VT Crew Team. Mary Sage is a coxswain for the Women’s Varsity Team. She started rowing in high school with River City Crew in Richmond, VA. She enjoys doing Biomedical Engineering research and teaching fitness classes such as cycle and Deep Water Fitness on campus.

Captain Jack is a sophomore in General Engineering. This is his second year with the VT Crew Team, and his 5th year rowing. Jack started out rowing for Conestoga High School in Berwyn, PA, where his team took two national championship wins. This past year, Jack and former president Neill Frazier took 2nd at ACRA Championships. Jack is also a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at VT, and an Eagle Scout of Troop Devon 50.

Rachel is a junior in Clinical Neuroscience with a minor in Medicine and Society, this is her 3rd year on the team and she started rowing freshman year. She spends the rest of her time as VP of Hawthorn House at West AJ.
Lee Ellen Markley (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Lee Ellen is a senior is biological systems engineering. This is her fourth year with the VT Crew Team and tenth year rowing. She started rowing in middle school at Norfolk Collegiate in Norfolk, VA. She works in the water quality lab in the BSE department.
